Customer Review: No Wonder This Item Isn't Offered Any Longer

I should have learned my lesson when my first Panasonic Microwave blew up in it's third year, but I didn't. I went back to amazon, looked at prices, looked at ratings, and again it seemed like this Panasonic model was a good choice. When I first received it, I commented to my wife how much quieter this one is than the one that exploded. I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. After only 3 months, this nice quiet unit buzzes like it is the end of the third quarter at Madison Square Garden...not a welcome sound from a microwave. I have no clue what it is, but I know it isn't good, and we stand in the other room when it is in use, fire extinguisher in hand. If you find this model anywhere, or any Panasonic microwave for that matter, do yourself a favor and keep looking. I hear that whirlpool makes some good units and Amana, although pricey, are very good. That is what I am going to do as soon as this Panasonic piece of junk either explodes like the last one, or I can't listen to the buzz anymore.
