Customer Review: Heats OK. Digital display stinks. Hoses WiFi.

The microwave works as advertised. Heats quickly but not always very evenly especially with liquid which isn't so bad since you can easily stir liquids. Panasonic make a big deal about defrosting using their inverter technology, but I don't see that much difference from our old Sharp microwave. The downfall of this is the digital readout. It is difficult to read from any angle other than straight on and for most people who will put this microwave on a countertop, you usually need to stoop down to get at the correct angle to get a better view of the readout otherwise 8s might look like 3s.
I also noticed that this microwave seems to trash our WiFi connection very badly. I noticed with our older microwave, the WiFi connection would slow down when the microwave was on but it would still pump data. However with this Panasonic, the same WiFi network is completely unusable while the microwave is running. I swithced to ethernet because of this but I would have returned this product if I didn't have that option.
Overall it is a decent microwave. I would have preferred the newer model Panasonic NN-SD667S, but at the time I ordered it, it was backordered for a month and is more expensive.
