This is NOT anodized. The product description is misleading. Very upsetting. I called the Panasonic technicians to get an accurate description and Panasonic said this rice cooker in Not Anodized. The white anodizing is highly sought after because of its purported health benefits. This rice cooker is NOT Anodized. Buyer beware.Customer Review: do not buy

I wish I had never bought this rice cooker. Every time I use it, the liquid spews out the top and runs all over my kitchen counter.
The rice is often overcooked as well. For this amount of money, I would expect a better product.
