Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Panasonic SRG06FG 3.3-Cup Automatic Rice CookerCustomer Review: A LIFESAVER Summary: 5 Stars
I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS COOKER. IT IS PERFECT FOR A COUPLE OR SMALL FAMILY. IT IS A PETITE COOKER AND THUS DOESN'T TAKE UP MUCH SPACE. NOTE IT WON'T MAKE A HUGE QUANTITY OF RICE BUT IT'S ALWAYS BEEN MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR US.
IT IS SO SIMPLE TO MAKE PERFECT RICE EVERY TIME, WHICH WAS MY PROBLEM. I ALWAYS HAD MIXED RESULTS BEFORE THIS COOKER. ALSO IT IS VERY EASY TO CLEAN! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY WITH THIS PURCHASE. THE PRICE IS VERY AFFORDABLE TOO.
Customer Review: Rice Really Does Taste Better Cooked in Rice Cooker!! Summary: 5 Stars
I love rice! I love rice much more than potatoes!! I eat rice several times a week! Well, when my Asian friend told me my rice would taste better cooked in a rice cooker, I didn't believe him, but he was totally correct. This is a great little rice cooker. Even cheap generic rice tastes great when cooked in this little cooker. It is not big enough for a family, but it is perfect for one or two people. It is easy to use and easy to clean. My rice tastes soooo much better now!!
Customer Review: PERFECTION! Summary: 5 Stars
I never thought I would find a rice cooker to replace my previous one which finally wore out. I do not like the automatic warming feature and this was the only one I found that went to OFF instead of WARM. I like to go off and not worry that the rice will burn while I am gone.
It looks good, cooks perfect rice every time, and I use it a lot. It's not very big, so if you feed more than 4 people or so, or like leftovers, you might go for a bigger one.
Customer Review: Nice little cooker Summary: 5 Stars
It does one thing and does it very well: It cooks just the right amount of rice or other grains. It's easy to clean, there's no burning, and it doesn't take up much space on the counter. It takes a little experimenting to get exactly the right amount of water for your personal taste (I use less for white, more for black rice), but if you start with the amount recommended on the package of product, you won't be far off and can adjust the next time.
Customer Review: Love it! Great bang for the buck Summary: 5 Stars
I got this after my cheapie Salton R3A rice cooker died. This has the same basic design but the bowl is teflon coated so rice doesnt stick. Put your rice in, add the right amount of water, press the button and just wait and you'll have great rice.
Brown rice will get a little messy though. I get foaming bubble and they want to bubble out of the top of the lid. I need to practice more on making brown rice with this thing
