I never enjoyed cooking rice much and now I love to make it since it is such a breeze with this little cooker. I tweak the amount of water I use depending on the type rice and have never had a bad batch of rice. Makes great brown rice, sticky rice, jasmine rice... and so forth. Yes it has no fancy feature but I didn't want them and will buy again if this one ever gives out on me. It also helped to read other people's suggestions.Customer Review: cooks more than rice

I got this because I love cooking rice but quickly found you can cook a lot of things in it, quickly and easily. I have experimented with cooking beans, oatmeal, pasta, soup, and even made a quick bread. The thing I love about this appliance is that you can put in the ingredient and leave it alone. This allows you to focus on other things without having to worry about it. Like they say on TV, "set it and forget it."Customer Review: Makes Rice, what more do you want

After reading the reviews of various rice cookers, I went with this model. While the more expensive models may automatically compensate for who knows what factors, this model just does the basics - brings the water to a boil, cooks the rice, and turns off. That is,it makes rice without you having to pay attention to it.
Be sure to use a little butter or oil; if you don't, it may foam over making a mess.

I am thrilled with my purchase of this Rice Cooker. That's all it is. It's also suppose to be a vegetable steamer but it didn't come with the steaming basket. But it could easily be a vegetable steamer. It's easy to use and very easy to clean up after. The rice is basicallly always perfect with very little effort on my part. It's small, perfect or one or two people to have plenty of rice. I do recommend it.Customer Review: No "warm option

After the rice is done, it turns off.
It's a basic rice cooker with a reasonable price tag. I haven't had any under or over cooked rice yet(Nishiki rice). It does not come with steam basket but everything else. It's very easy to use but Please read the multi-language manual. It tells you what to do and not to do which could effect the lifespan and safety!
